Raja graduation

There are no words to describe how excited I was to go to the graduation today. To see my yoga friends become full fledge yoga teachers was nothing short of a spiritual experience. There was so much love in the room, that I felt near tears. They all worked so hard and they deserved every moment of last night.

Also the first time my yoga family saw me in real clothes before. I wanted to look my best and I ended up buying a dress and some ariel (the little mermaid tights) to go with the at hot topic. It was the first time I could actually fit something in there in 4 years. Of course in the dressing room I became emotional realizing that I was in a large in a regular store. Everyone said. I looked amazing. What do you guys think?

After the graduation we got invited to dinner with one of my teachers and her husband. It was tons of laughter at our table and it was a pretty good all around night. On the way home I told my lady tonight’s graduation was so special. She said you know the next one we go to will be yours? I said I know. Just thinking about me doing the apprenticeship and becoming officially one of the family is the most amazing feeling in the world. Words can’t describe how I feel about my yoga family but the one thing I can say is that we will be family for life.

Also want to mention that I make the most amazing paleo cupcakes last night for this event. It was a huge hit. Everyone could not stop talking about them 🙂

Sunflower mini paleo cupcakes
2 cups of sunflower seeds (without the shells of course)
2 Tsp of sunbutter (sunflower butter)
3 frozen bananas
1/2 Tsp of coconut oil
350 in the oven for 25 mins
And that’s all guys

The chocolate icing
3/4 cup of raw coco power
1/2 cup of coconut oil
3/4 cup of raw honey
1tsp of coconut milk
Mix with a beater and ice. It looks a little runny when you put it on let it set for 20 mins on the cupcake and it will have a icing feel to it.
And I just put frozen strawberry pieces on top for a pop of color but it’s not necessary to the recipe.
